Rescue Center Online Management System “RECOMS”

The Rescue Center Online Management System (abbreviated as “RECOMS”) will be a web-based, online operations management software to be used by our staff members. All animals will be registered to the database, and their daily treatment and care needs will be specified as tasks by our specialists. The tasks will appear as individual checklists allocated for each of our technicians/volunteers, carrying out their daily duties to complete their own checklists. The advantages of this system are the following: Reduces the time spent by specialist staff, allows improvement of services, facilitates instant correspondence with international experts to get a second opinion, enables cost estimation on treatments, allows planning by analyzing costs and needs, and produces data to generate educational materials to be used in environmental awareness raising.
